Most of our fibre range comes as combed top (but is also referred to as roving). Combed Top gives you beautifully aligned, parallel fibres which results in a sleek, smooth and uniformed fibre. This makes it an ideal choice for spinners. Real roving is carded wool where the fibres are not aligned and has a more fluffy appearance
