Workshops are held in Cherry Gardens at the Community Hall in Cherry Gardens.
Spaces are limited and classes do fill up quickly. Bookings are essential and deposit is required. At checkout select local pickup to remove shipping.
Price includes all supplies and refreshments. Our new location is Wheelchair friendly as are classes. There is on site parking too.
Our Macame plant hanger workshop will run in conjunction with the macrame hanging table workshop. If you wish to make a table instead, please head to the hanging table listing instead.

Todays popularity of Macrame is in plant hangers, big and beautiful wall hangings and jewellery. But the uses for Macrame are endless. Not only do you get to be creative, Macrame also provides a soothing rhythm which is easy to get lost in. So whether you are looking for something to keep your hands busy, or to zone out for an hour or two, Macrame is a perfect choice.
I pride myself in running workshops that are a safe and friendly space to ask questions and learn a new hobby. I run small to medium classes depending on the focus piece, to allow each individual enough time to get one on one help if required.
My workshops are beginner friendly and all are encouraged to try. There is no worry if you dont 100% complete your piece, my assistance does not end as soon as the calss is over, I am available following your class for questions and guidance so that you can complete your piece at home in your own time if necessary.
During the class we will talk about the different types of macrame rope and string available and practice some of the more common macrame knots as we create your very own take home piece. I hope you leave with enough knowledge to continue your Macrame journey at home and keep creating. It's good for your soul!
Bookings are essential. A non refundable (unless class is cancelled by Vada Blue) deposit of $20 is required to secure your spot.
