The fibre has been hand spun as a thick and thin single and plied using the chain ply technique. Chain ply is a fun texchnique that creates 3 plys and gives the yarn a bold textured sprial look.
 
Hand dyed and spun, this chain plyed art yarn is moody and chunky. Due to the nature of this yarn being hand spun, you will find some over spun and under spun detail which only add to the effect and make it perfect for tapestry weavers.
