Bringing two of my favourite fibre arts together, Macrame and weaving, the new beginner friendly Macra-Weave workshop will tick all the boxes if you have a love for colour, texture and learning new things.

Starting with the fundamentals of macrame and moving into some of the most common and popular weaving techniques, you will leave this class feeling confident, inspired and creative.
Each attendee will work through a set of steps guided by myself to create a Macra-Weave wall hanging that is uniquely theirs in colour and texture.
All materials are supplied with a wide range of colours and fibres made available to choose from on the day.
Refreshments are included, Workshop will run for approx 4 hours.

Macrame and weaving provide a soothing rhythm which is easy to get lost in. So whether you are looking for something to keep your hands busy, or to zone out for an hour or two, these two new skills will help you achieve that. I pride myself in running workshops that are a safe and friendly space to ask questions and learn a new hobby. I run small to medium classes depending on the focus piece, to allow each individual enough time to get one on one help if required.
My workshops are beginner friendly and all are encouraged to try. Please do not worry if you don’t 100% complete your piece, my assistance does not end as soon as the class is over, I am available following your class for questions and guidance so that you can complete your piece at home in your own time if necessary. During the class we will talk about the different types of Macrame rope and weaving supplies that are available. I hope you leave with enough knowledge to continue your creative journey at home and keep creating. It's good for your soul!
Bookings are essential. A non-refundable (unless class is cancelled by Vada Blue) deposit of $30 is required to secure your spot. Minimum numbers are required to run the class, you will be notified if class is rescheduled or cancelled and deposit refunded if required numbers are not met.
