Created using off cuts from fashion labels across the globe, these painted recycled denim ribbons have been saved and repurposed into an easy to manage ribbon form by cutting long lengths of fabric and sewing the ends together to create one continuous strip. 
 
Each ribbon roll is unique as each original denim piece was unique in colour and texture. Along with the sewn joins which are a feature in themselves to be embraced, you may even find printed or written marks on the underside which add a great amount of interest. 
 
Ribbon is approx 8-10 metres and 4cm wide. 
 
These new recyled ribbons are another step forward in reclaiming factory waste and turning it into something wonderful. The softness of the ribbon makes it easy to use and is great for modern tapestry weaving. Other ideas include woven cushion covers or stool seats as per images above.
